Description: American Heritage Landscape, LP, a growing landscape management company, is seeking an Account Manager for its expanding Commercial Landscape Maintenance Division in the Ventura, CA area. We are seeking an individual with commercial landscape and horticultural experience with the ability to build long term customer relations.


• Developing and maintaining long term positive customer relations leading to complete customer satisfaction and successful contract renewals.
• Developing and maintaining a production schedule, monitoring the activity of crews and working closely with production staff concerning scheduling, quality and customer service.
• Performing frequent site walk evaluations and conducting formal meetings with customers to ensure a high level of quality and service.
• Developing strong relationships with production personnel to ensure that customer service and production teams are coordinated in serving customers.
• Proactively manage account properties by inspecting and discovering problems on properties before being apprised by customers and thereafter communicating resolution of problems to customers.
• Proactively offer site enhancement ideas to existing customers, increasing additional work opportunities and attaining work order sales that meet branch goals.
• Maintaining job costs per guidelines and assisting in meeting profitability goals.
• Ensuring that all contracted services provided are of outstanding quality.
• Ensuring that all contracted services are completed in a timely fashion.
• Ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers and the public.
• Monitoring safe working conditions and practices for employees.
• Proactively assist in resolving issues with customers, expediting customer service when necessary.


• The ability to lead with strong work ethic.
• Analytical skills and basic math skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Preference of at least five (5) years management experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Local area knowledge preferred.
• Well organized, and capable and willing to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, confident, organized and meets deadlines.
• Successfully pass employment background check.
• Negative results on pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Significant driving to account sites on a daily basis.


• Compensation dependent upon experience.
